MHKDesigner Inspiration ~ Asmah

Hello friends! I am back again for the last time to share with you my finale Designer post. Before I proceed, let me tell you how much I have enjoyed my time here as one of Mynn's designers and it has always been a pleasure creating with fabulous images from MHKDesigns by Mynn.

Let me now take you to this favorite image I love because it is just so gorgeous and full of smiles.
I used the beautiful vintage sun image which is included in Celestial Elements stamp set. I decided to leave it uncolored and no sentiment for this card to let it be the focal point by itself.
More gorgeous images you can get at MHKDesigns etsy shop. Do take a look at the shop and I hope you will enjoy the artistic vintage images and sentiments offered by Mynn.
Last but not least, I once again wish to say my heartfelt thanks to Mynn Kitchen for offering me to be her designer this year and it has been great time making projects with MHKDesigns.

I thank you too for supporting us all at MHKDesigns.
Wish you all the best throughout 2018.
Happy Holidays & Happy New Year.

Hugs and smiles,

MHKDesigner Inspiration: Shawna

Hello MHK Fans,

For today I would like to share some inspiration from MHKDesigns using your MHK digital stamps. Here is my card for today, enjoy!

I do enjoy the cozy colors of this scene.  Nice browns warm up the scene.
The snow was stenciled using VersaMark Ink and 'Winter Wonderland' embossing powder.
I do really enjoy how it turned out.

I invite you to check out her Etsy store and see for yourself
the versatility of stamp sets and the variety of digital papers we have to offer
______________________________

This card was all designed electronically,
except for the snow that is described above.

A detailed shot of the sentiment.
I thought it was a fitting sentiment next to this cozy home.
I don't know about you but I am up to my eyeballs with 'Christmas Spirit'. However, I think I am going to try to get better a better perspective on the meaning of Christmas. I literally thought the other day, 'would Jesus want us to be all stressed out?'. My guess is no... So, I would like to take this moment to breathe. Better? Better!

Since you are here, I encourage you to browse our blog and see more inventive ideas from our design team. It is our hope that you can play along with our monthly challenge. If not, just enjoy a bit of eye candy.

There is a lot more to discover at MHKDesigns Etsy Shop! Stop on over and see what we have to offer. It is certain to spark the imagination. So, thank you for stopping by and hope to see you soon. Take care and happy crafting.

MHK Designer Inspiration - Rocky

A Paper Is Not Just For Christmas
MHK Designs have some gorgeous paper sets, this one is a firm favourite of mine.
Although it's a set full of designs suitable for Christmas, with  just a few colour changes you can use it any time of year.
This set has stars, stripes and great patterns. The only thing that makes it Christmas is the colour palette, so change it and you've got a whole host of lovely papers to craft with.
If you don't know how to change the colours of your digi's then please pop over to You-Tube and watch our very own Mynn as she takes you through several ways to get much more from your digital designs.
When you have a few minutes play around with your printer settings to see what you can come up with, you'll be surprised what you can do by just moving the sliders around on your colours. If all else fails then print in black and white and add colour with ink pads.

Christmas Past

Have a very Happy Holiday Season, see you in the New Year....

MHKDesigner Inspiration: Judy

Hello!
It's Judy here sharing a little inspiration with you!

Since it's December and we're into the holiday mode
I created a gift bag using one of my favorite

I love this vintage Santa image and it dresses
up a plain white gift bag perfectly for gift giving.
The tag was created using one of the greetings from the set.

I colored the image with pencils, fussy cut
and adhered with foam tape to a rectangular mat
of designer paper and solid card stock.
Coordinating designer paper was used behind the mat.

I hope I've inspired you
to create something for the holiday season!

Until next time,
I wish you and yours Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

MHKDesigner Inspiration: Asha

Good morning, friends! Welcome to our last month of MHKDesigner Inspiration blog posts for the year. As you already know, every month our Design Team will showcase a project featuring products available in the MHKDesigns Etsy Store.

December is also a month to reflect on the year that was with pleasure or ...horror. I generally tend to wonder: Where did the year go? What have I done? .... and then I panic about my annual state of unpreparedness for Christmas. Happens every single year... without fail!

Today I want to share a card I made in August featuring a digi called Christmas Frames. It's a simple card. No patterned papers. I splattered some white and silver paint on the blue card base and added the design panel directly on it.

I struggled to keep this card as simple as possible. I added little drops of liquid pearls for the holly berries and tied a twine bow for a festive touch.

That's all from me this year. I hope Christmas fills your life with joy, your heart with peace and your home with love.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a Blessed Christmas season!

Beijinhos,

MHKDesigner Inspiration: Mynn

Hi, friends! I hope your November treated you well! Mine started out a bit rough, but it got better! I am back today to share about my month and a digital mixed media, triple time stamped card and I made using products from the MHKDesigns Etsy shop. Take a peek...

I am extra grateful for a lot of things in my life today. I had to undergo emergency surgery at the end of October and the recovery took up about half of November. I am so grateful to everyone who helped me during that time, so I thought I'd share a card with a thankful theme! :) This card uses a sentiment from the Thankful Thoughts digital stamp set and images from the I've Been FramedChicken In, and Fabulously Fall digital stamp sets.

I printed the panel I created in Photoshop three times so that I could die cut them to create a triple time stamped focal panel. A few pearls and paper leaves finished this off. I LOVE the way it turned out! What do you think? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

That's all I have for you today, friends! Thank you so much for stopping by! I always love to hear from you, so please do let me know your thoughts in the comments below! Don't forget to head over to the MHKDesigns blog for more inspiration and join in our *NEW* challenge tomorrow for your chance at winning some digital goodies from the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop! Until next time, HUGS and happy {digital} stamping, friends!
